- When does new stock arrive?
We cannot always be precise as to when new stock arrives but on average we receive a few new pieces each week! A few select pieces of our homewares and fashion accessories are handmade by numerous artisans all over the world and thus can be tricky to get in sync shipments each week.
In saying this we will always ensure you are kept up to date on our socials as to what stock may and may not be arriving. Our website is also live so we will never sell anything we are ‘out of stock’ on.
- Will your next restock include every collection that is sold out?
Not necessarily. Due to the uniqueness of our products we source, we may only get 1 or 2 of each item. So be sure to get in quick if you see something you like as a lot of these pieces are one of a kind.
- Can I place a custom order?
It depends on the item/s in which you were looking at ordering. Please email us directly to begin a conversation and we can see what we can do.
- How do I know my order has been shipped?
We’ll email you your tracking number once your order has been sent. You can use this number to see exactly where your package is and how long it’ll take to reach you. Easy!
- What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment via direct transfer or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX).

- Do you offer AfterPay and how does it work?
Heck yes! Afterpay offers simple installment plans for online shoppers allowing a purchase to be paid for in four equal installments, due every fortnight. Simply shop online as per usual and choose Afterpay as your payment method at checkout. First-time customers provide payment details as usual, returning customers simply log in to make their purchase. It’s that easy!
After you check out, your order will be shipped to you straight away. At any time, you can log in to your Afterpay account to see your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date. Otherwise, Afterpay will automatically deduct the installments from your debit or credit card every fortnight.
- What is your return policy?
We accept returns. You can return unopened items in the original packaging within 30 days of your purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. Postage will be at your cost. If 30 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange.
Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return. If you are entitled to a return, we will refund your purchase price and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.

- Are all items the same?
At Oak & Birch we support ‘makers’ from all over the world in the creation of one-off and timeless homeware, lifestyle and fashion pieces. Supporting these makers is a personal passion of ours and absolutely prefer supporting these business’ over mass production in any capacity.
Granted a lot of our items are handmade you will find no item is the same. An example may be our genuine leather belts, on a direct comparison of a few of the same kind you may find a slight colour and minimal shape changes from piece to piece.
